At anytime, if you ask me if I want a cheeseburger, the answer will always be ‘Yes’!
However, I think homemade is best. I mean Five Guys is good, but mine is better! I bet your version is too!
Anyhoo, here’s how I make my Favorite Cheeseburger.
My Favorite Cheeseburger
The American classic, amped up with a combo of pork & beef, Dijon, olive oil, and Monterrey Jack Cheese!
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 TBSP Dijon mustard
- 3 TBSP olive oil
- 1 TSP kosher salt
- 1 TSP ground black pepper
- McCormick’s Grill Mates Montreal Steak Seasoning
- 6 slices Monterey Jack cheese
Directions
- Step 1 Combine beef & pork together in a large bowl, with mustard, olive oil, salt & pepper.
- Step 2 Mix gently with a fork to combine – shape meat into 6 patties. Sprinkle each side with Steak Seasoning, and refrigerate until ready to grill.
- Step 3 When grill is hot, place burgers on oiled grill grate. Cook 4 minutes on first side, then turn burgers and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
- Step 4 Then add cheese to each burger, and let melt another 1-2 minutes.
- Step 5 Serve with toasted Brioche buns, my favorite!
