I love chocolate. I mean I have to have some pretty much every day. So when I was doing various diets, this little recipe made me so happy! It literally tastes just like Chocolate Mousse!
Chocolate Mousse made with Avocados? Heck yes!! Avocado & banana combine with cocoa powder to make a deliciously rich & creamy chocolate mousse that you don’t even have to feel guilty about! Yes, please!

Chocolate Avocado Banana Mousse
Mix up a delicious chocolatey & healthy dessert in your blender! Avocado, banana, cocoa & maple syrup blend beautifully to make a chocolate mousse with no guilt!
Ingredients
- I ripe avocado, peeled & pitted
- 2 large ripe bananas - sliced
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 tbsp maple syrup (sub honey or agave if needed)
- 1 tbsp nut milk of choice
- 1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- Step 1 Add all ingredients in a blender or food processor & blend until completely smooth.
- Step 2 Spoon mixture into 4 ramekins or bowls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Step 3 I like to sprinkle a little salt over top before serving -(sounds weird, but so good) and grate some chocolate over top to make it pretty!
