Hi! Kathy here!
Guess what I did this week? Since I had plenty of time, I cleaned out my pantry. 🤓 I mean, I took it all out, looked at dates, purged, replaced those shelf liners, and of course, ordered some more Oxo Pop Food Storage containers from The Container Store, so everything would be pretty! 🙂 Because that’s the goal right? Pretty, organized food storage that makes me want to open up the pantry doors to show the girls once we start having Book Club again! Yep, that’s the goal!
Anyhoo, during this process I realized I already have lots of food in my pantry that I can make some yummy dishes with! You probably do too!
So this week, I am featuring Pantry Recipes! What is a Pantry Recipe you ask? Well, I consider these recipes to include both staple foods (canned goods, rice, pasta) AND frozen foods. However, in these recipes, feel free to replace canned or frozen items with fresh, if you happen to have them.
So open up that pantry, and see what’s in there – I bet you already have dinner waiting on you there!
This Week’s Featured Recipes:
Chickpea & Cauliflower Masala – Simple & creamy Indian spiced vegetarian dish that has so much yummy flavor! Serve with rice & Naan to make complete!
Southwest Black Bean & Chicken Skillet -Chicken, beans, rice & salsa make a delicious skillet dinner in one pan! In only 30 minutes!
Santa Fe Stew – A spicy tomato based chicken stew, using mostly canned beans, corn, potatoes, & chicken from your pantry. But it’s the seasoning recipe that makes this stew your new favorite #pantryrecipe! Delicious with cornbread!
Enjoy!
