Southern brothers & sisters, here ya go! Here’s an easy way to enjoy all the flavors of the Low Country Boil on the grill or in the oven, with virtually no cleanup, AND you can make it ahead! Score!

Cooked & served in aluminum foil packets!  Cook on the grill when the sun is out, or pop in the oven if the Mother Nature rains on your cookout! And excellent finger food for the kiddos! There’s something for everyone in this recipe!

We love Reynolds Non-Stick Aluminum foil, no need to spray with oil!

Low Country Boil Foil Packs

Shrimp, corn, potatoes & sausage - all the Low country boil flavors in no-mess foil packets!

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. shrimp - peeled & deveined
  • 2 ears of corn - husked
  • 8 oz. smoked beef sausage (or andouille)
  • 1 lb. baby red potatoes - halved
  • 2 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic - minced
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 3 tbsp butter - melted
Directions
  • Step 1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut corn on the cob into thirds and slice potatoes in half. Then boil corn & potatoes for 10 minutes. Drain & set aside.
  • Step 2 Slice sausage into 1 inch slices.
  • Step 3 In a large bowl, combine shrimp, sausage, corn & potatoes.
  • Step 4 Separately, mix melted butter, Old Bay, garlic, lemon juice & salt/pepper to taste. Pour over shrimp mixture & stir to coat.
  • Step 5 Divide mixture between four 12 x 12 sheets of aluminum foil, spooning mixture into center of sheet.
  • Step 6 Fold long edges up to meet in the center, fold over to seal, then fold up the ends to create a closed packet.
  • Step 7 Place packets on sheet pan into a preheated oven for 10 minutes, or grill over Medium-High heat for 8-10 minutes on one side, then flip packets over and grill for additional 5-6 minutes.
  • Step 8 Carefully open each packet and enjoy!
