A few of my Favorite Comfort Foods

This week I’m sharing 3 of my favorite Comfort Foods—the dishes that remind me of my mom’s kitchen, past celebrations and happy memories with friends & family.

Keep in mind, I grew up in the South; which means the Comfort Foods of my youth are not considered health food!  (Are any comfort foods healthy?) But they are all easy to prepare!

This week’s featured recipes:

Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings -Homemade Chicken & Dumplings cook while you work, with the help of the slow cooker and the secret ingredient – refrigerated biscuits!

Easy Tomato Basil Bisque -Easy Homemade tomato soup amped up with the addition of basil, cream and butter! Seriously simple!

My Favorite Cheeseburger -The American classic, amped up with a combo of pork & beef, Dijon, olive oil, and Monterrey Jack Cheese!

I hope that these recipes bring you a little comfort and hope that they become favorites in your home too!

❤️
