Buttery melt-in-your-mouth salmon is made even more delicious with the addition of asparagus, briney Kalamata olives, paprika & garlic salt!

It’s a fancy (and easy) seafood addition to your grill menu!  All in easy to clean up foil packets!

Salmon Asparagus Foil Packets

Buttery salmon & asparagus packets are super simple way to upgrade your grill menu.

Ingredients
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus spears - tough ends trimmed
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt or garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp chopped Kalamata olives
  • 4 12 inch square pieces of non-stick aluminum foil
Directions
  • Step 1 Place 1/4 of the asparagus In the center of each piece of foil. Drizzle asparagus with olive oil and sprinkle each serving with 1/4 tsp garlic salt & 1/4 tsp pepper.
  • Step 2 Place the salmon fillets on top of the asparagus, drizzle each with olive oil & sprinkle salt, pepper & paprika. Top each with 1/4 of the chopped olives.
  • Step 3 To seal packet, bring long edges up to meet in the center, fold over to seal, then fold up the ends to create a closed packet.
  • Step 4 TO GRILL: Place packs on preheated grill for approx. 10 minutes OR
  • Step 5 TO OVEN ROAST: Place packets on a sheet pan and roast at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
  • Step 6 Open packets at end of cook time, if more browning is desired return to oven/or grill for approximately 2 minutes. Remove from foil and enjoy!
