Heirloom Tomato season is here, and here is one of my favorite ways to enjoy these gorgeous, juicy treasures of the season.
Heirlooms are treasured for a good reason – they are the most flavorful of the tomato family, and they come in so many gorgeous shades! Reminding me that we eat with our eyes first, and this picture says it all!
These Heirlooms make the most beautiful, delicious & foolproof Tomato Burrata Salad when simply sliced & paired with Burrata cheese, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and fresh basil.
If you’ve never heard of Burrata cheese before, it’s an Italian cow milk cheese made from mozzarella and cream. The outer casing is firm like fresh mozzarella, but the inside contains a creamy soft interior, perfect for pairing with ripe, juicy tomatoes! Check out the recipe below!
