My husband loves pecans. I have never been a huge fan, but I love my husband, so I decided to try out this recipe for him, and I ended up totally loving it too! And it only requires FIVE ingredients and about 10 minutes prep!
I took a recipe for “Hello Dolly” bars, and tweaked it a bit. Not sure why these would be called Hello Dolly bars, but I just call them delicious!

Ingredients
2 cups crushed Graham Cracker crumbs
1 stick unsalted butter – melted
1 1/4 cups chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate chips (we like dark chocolate chips)
1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cut butter into chunks, and melt in a measuring cup in the microwave. (2.5 minutes at 50% power)
- In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs with butter until combined. Pour crumb mixture into a 9×9 baking pan that has been lined with parchment or aluminum foil. Press crumbs down to create a flat crust in bottom of pan.
- Next sprinkle pecans over top. Then sprinkle chocolate chips over that, and then evenly pour condensed milk over all.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden. Allow to cool for 1 hour before serving.
Notes
- Look for boxed Keebler Graham Cracker crumbs in the Baking aisle in some grocery stores to make this recipe even quicker!
- If using whole graham crackers, 1 sleeve crushed in a zip top bag should approximately equate to 2 cups.
- If you don’t want to make these too sweet, look for Ghirardelli Chocolate 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chocolate Chips. So good!
