I believe I have found the perfect summer one-pan meal! This recipe takes the classic Low Country Shrimp Boil and makes it super simple. That’s right—just ONE PAN! No newspapers, no bags, and no mess to clean up!
This dish is quick, easy and so delicious and can be prepared in just 40 minutes. And, this recipe only requires seven ingredients—three of which you probably already have in your kitchen!
Here are a couple of tips to make this recipe even easier:
- Parboil the potatoes and corn ahead of time. You can parboil these ingredients up to 1-2 days in advance. Just store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator, and they’ll be ready to use.
- Use peeled and deveined frozen shrimp. Simply thaw the shrimp overnight in the refrigerator. If you’re short on time, you can run them under cold water for about five minutes until fully thawed. After thawed, make sure to pat them dry thoroughly to remove any excess moisture. This will help them brown nicely.

Ingredients
1 pound baby Dutch yellow potatoes
2 ears of corn, each cut crosswise into 3-4 pieces
4 tablespoons. unsalted butter – melted
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning + ½ tsp additional
1 pound jumbo shrimp (16-20), peeled and deveined
1 (12-ounce) package of beef smoked sausage, thinly sliced
- For Garnish
1 Lemon – cut into wedges
Chopped fresh parsley
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large sheet pan with non-stick foil or parchment paper. In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook potatoes until just tender and parboiled, about 10 minutes. Add corn and cook 5 minutes more. Drain well.
- Meanwhile, combine melted butter, garlic, and Old Bay seasoning in a small bowl.
- Next, place parboiled potatoes and corn in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Add shrimp and sausage to the baking sheet, then drizzle with the butter mixture and gently toss to combine. Before cooking, sprinkle with an additional ½ teaspoon of Old Bay Seasoning to ensure everything has ample seasoning.
- Place in preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the shrimp are opaque. Serve immediately with lemon wedges, and garnish with parsley, if desired.
